NOTICE INVITING BIDS

THERMOPLASTIC REPLACEMENT FISCAL YEAR 2018 & 2019

 

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the CITY OF TRACY (hereinafter "CITY") requests bids for Thermoplastic Replacement Fiscal Year 2018 & 2019  (hereinafter “Project”), and will receive bids in the office of the Public Works Department, Boyd Service Center, 520 Tracy Blvd, Tracy, CA, 95376 up to the hour of 3:00 p.m., on the 20th day of November, 2017. 

2. The services to be performed by the successful Proposer are described in the Bid. Copies of the Bid are available at the Boyd Service Center and online at http://www.thinkinsidethetriangle.com/?navid=451#7326. Any questions should be directed to Mike Contreras, Public Works Superintendent, via email Mike.Contreras@cityoftracy.org no later than noon on November 9th, 2017. The intent and purpose of these specifications are to provide for the replacement of thermoplastic pavement markings on City streets in a neat and professional manner.

3. Proposals shall be submitted and clearly marked on the outside of a sealed envelope as follows “THERMOPLASTIC REPLACEMENT FISCAL YEAR 2018 & 2019 – DO NOT OPEN WITH REGULAR MAIL”. 

4. The CITY will award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder. The CITY may award a contract to the next lowest responsible bidder if the successful bidder refuses or fails to execute the contract. The CITY also reserves the right to reduce the scope of work for the thermoplastic replacement at any time.

5. The CITY reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or waive any irregularities in any proposal or the proposal process.
