CITY OF TRACY CITY COUNCIL
PUBLIC HEARING
 
            The City of Tracy City Council will conduct a Public Hearing on Tuesday, October 17, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. or as soon after as possible, in the Tracy City Council Chambers, 333 Civic Center Plaza, Tracy, to consider the following:
 
ZA17-0009: CITY-INITIATED ORDINANCE REGARDING TEMPORARY STORAGE CONTAINERS ON RESIDENTIAL PROPERTYPublic hearing to consider introduction of an ordinance adding a new Section 10.08.4243 to the Tracy Municipal Code relating to temporary storage containers on residential property. The proposed ordinance has been determined to be exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15061(b), which pertains to activities that do not have the potential for causing a significant effect on the environment. The Planning Commission held a public hearing to consider this ordinance on September 13, 2017 and recommended that the City Council introduce and adopt the ordinance, by a vote of four in favor to one opposed. The project planner is Scott Claar, Senior Planner, scott.claar@cityoftracy.org, (209)831-6429.
 
AMENDMENT TO TRACY MUNICIPAL CODE TO ADD A NEW SECTION 10.08.3199.5 REGARDING MOBILE FOOD VENDORS – The proposal is to amend the Tracy Municipal Code by adding a new Section 10.08.3193 to allow Mobile Food Vendors (such as food trucks) in certain zone districts within the City. This project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Guidelines Section 15061(b)(3), the general rule, because it does not have the potential for causing a significant effect on the environment. On September 13, 2017, the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing to consider the application and, by a vote of five to zero, recommended that the City Council approve the Tracy Municipal Code amendment. The applicant is the Tracy City Council. The project planner is Alan Bell, Senior Planner, alan.bell@cityoftracy.org, (209)831-6426.
 
AMENDMENT TO THE SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY MULTI-SPECIES HABITAT CONSERVATION AND OPEN SPACE PLAN DEVELOPMENT FEEPublic hearing to consider the annual update to the San Joaquin County Multi-Species Habitat Conservation and Open Space Plan, based on the annual evaluation of the acquisition, assessment and enhancement, and management and administrative costs for the program, as administered by the San Joaquin County Council of Governments. The annual fee update is exempt from CEQA, pursuant to Section 15061(b)(3), which does not require CEQA review for projects that do not have the potential for causing a significant effect on the environment. The project planner is Victoria Lombardo, Senior Planner, victoria.lombardo@cityoftracy.org, (209)831-6428.
 
            All interested persons are invited to be present and to submit statements orally or in writing before or during the meeting.
