NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

2018-2019 Landscape, Park and Channelway Maintenance RFP

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the CITY OF TRACY (hereinafter "CITY") requests proposals for 2018-2019 Landscape, Park and Channelway Maintenance  (hereinafter “project”), and will receive proposals in the office of the Public Works Department, Boyd Service Center, 520 Tracy Blvd, Tracy, CA, 95376 up to the hour of 11:00 a.m., on the 5th day of October, 2017. 

2. The services to be performed by the successful Proposer are described in the Request For Proposals. Copies of the Request for Proposals are available at the Boyd Service Center and online at www.cityoftracy.org. Any questions should be directed to Brian MacDonald, Management Analyst II, via email brian.macdonald@cityoftracy.org. The general scope of services includes landscape maintenance of approximately 220 acres of landscape, including turf, shrubs, and groundcover with specialized maintenance of streetscapes, medians, channelways, and Landscape Maintenance District (LMD) parks. The City will be divided into two (2) areas; north of Schulte and south of Schulte at the Union Pacific Railroad tracks. North Tracy services 130 acres while South Tracy services 91 acres. A minimum of one to a maximum of two Proposers will selected.

 3. There will be a mandatory pre-proposal meeting on September 21, 2017 at the Boyd Service Center, 520 Tracy Blvd, Tracy, CA 95376.

 4.   Proposals shall be submitted and clearly marked on the outside of the envelope as follows: “SEALED PROPOSAL for 2018-2019 Landscape, Parks, and Channelway Maintenance – DO NOT OPEN WITH REGULAR MAIL”. 

 5.   All responsive proposals shall be reviewed and evaluated by the CITY in order to determine which Proposer best meets the CITY’s needs for this Project by demonstrating the competence and professional qualifications necessary for the satisfactory performance of the required services. The criteria by which the CITY shall evaluate proposals are set forth in the Request for Proposals.

 6.   The CITY reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or waive any irregularities in any proposal or the proposal process.
