08 09 17 PC Public Hearing

The City of Tracy Planning Commission will conduct Public Hearings on Wednesday, August 9, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. or as soon after as possible, in the Tracy City Council Chambers, 333 Civic Center Plaza, Tracy, to consider the following:
 
AMENDMENT TO TRACY MUNICIPAL CODE SECTION 10.08.2560 REGARDING MINIMUM LOT FRONTAGE REQUIREMENT IN THE GENERAL HIGHWAY COMMERCIAL ZONE (Application Number ZA17-0006)- The proposal is to amend Tracy Municipal Code Section 10.08.2560 Lot Area (GHC) to change the minimum lot frontage requirement in the General Highway Commercial Zone. This project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Guidelines Section 15061(b)(3), the general rule, because it does not have the potential for causing a significant effect on the environment. Should you decide to challenge the decision of the Planning Commission in this regard, you may be limited to those issues that were raised for consideration at this specific hearing. The applicant is Schack and Company for Tracy Orchard Plaza, L.P. The project planner is Alan Bell, Senior Planner, alan.bell@cityoftracy.org, (209) 831-6426.
 
RECOMMENDATION TO CITY COUNCIL REGARDING ADOPTION OF AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING RECREATIONAL MARIJUANA (CANNABIS)
Public hearing to consider a recommendation to the City Council regarding adoption of an ordinance banning outdoor cultivation, commercial cultivation and manufacturing, and sales and delivery of recreational marijuana (cannabis) to allow time for the Planning Commission and City Council to consider reasonable regulations for such uses.
 
All interested persons are invited to be present and to submit statements orally or in writing before or during the meeting.
