PUBLIC HEARING
 
The City of Tracy City Council will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, in the Tracy Council Chambers, 333 Civic Center Plaza, to consider:
 
Revisions to the City-Wide Design Goals and Standards -Public hearing to consider comprehensive revisions to the City’s Design Goals and Standards. The project is consistent with the City’s 2011 General Plan EIR. The Project Planner is Victoria Lombardo, Senior Planner.
 
D16-0025 & CUP16-0009: Proposed Jiffy Lube Automotive Service Facility in Tracy Marketplace - The Applicant is Boos Development West, LLC and the Property Owner is Lamorinda Development & Investment - Public Hearing for a Conditional Use Permit and a Preliminary and Final Development Plan to develop an approximately 3,350 square foot automotive service facility (Jiffy Lube) with associated parking and landscaping on an approximately 0.71-acre site (Assessor’s Parcel Number 238-600-33 and a portion of Assessor’s Parcel Number 238-600-34) located adjacent to Fast Track and north of Les Schwab in the Tracy Marketplace commercial center.  The project is categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15332 pertaining to in-fill development projects. The Project Planner is Kimberly Matlock, Associate Planner.
 
D16-0023: Proposed Walmart Academy Addition - The Applicant is BRR Architecture, Inc. and the Property Owner is Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. - Public Hearing for a Preliminary and Final Development Plan for a 7,615 sq ft training center addition to the existing Walmart Superstore located at 3010 W. Grant Line Road (Assessor’s Parcel Number 238-600-08).  The training center is for the training of Walmart employees and not a school for the general public.  The project is categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15332 pertaining to in-fill development projects. The Project Planner is Kimberly Matlock, Associate Planner.
 
The Planning Commission unanimously voted for approval.
 
All interested persons are invited to be present and to submit statements orally or in writing before or during the meeting.
 
Should you decide to challenge the decision of the City Council you may be limited to those issues that were raised for consideration at the hearing.
