Posted: Feb 27, 2017
Location: Tracy, Calif.

The City of Tracy, in partnership with the Tracy Chamber of Commerce, is proud to present the Annual State of the City Address on Tuesday, March 21st from 9:00 a.m. to noon at the Grand Theatre Center for the Arts, located at 715 Central Avenue in Downtown Tracy.

The event theme, “Tracy Together”, will be incorporated into Mayor Rickman’s first State of the City Address. During his presentation, the Mayor will highlight the community’s accomplishments in 2016, and will outline the City’s efforts to address current and future issues facing Tracy. The Mayor will also present the City Council’s Five Point Plan, strategic goals and vision for Tracy’s future.

“As we enter into 2017, I’m more optimistic about the future of Tracy than ever before,” stated Tracy Mayor, Robert Rickman. “We will continue to have a long term vision and continue to look into the future with the goal of enhancing the City of Tracy for our residents and businesses.”

The keynote address will be delivered by Jeff Bellisario, Vice President for the Bay Area Council Economic Institute. Mr. Bellisario’s research interests lie at the intersection of community development and finance and his past projects include analyses of the Northern California Mega Region, Bay Area housing programs, public-private partnerships for infrastructure, and the economic impacts of transportation investments.

“The Chamber’s collaboration with the City of Tracy in presenting the State of the City Address represents our united vision of creating a thriving community for the citizens and residents of Tracy. I invite the business community to come together with us to hear valuable updates and information on the state of our community,” stated Sofia Valenzuela, CEO of the Tracy Chamber of Commerce.

Tickets to the State of the City are $25. Interested individuals may purchase tickets on-line at www.atthegrand.org or at the Grand Theatre Box Office and Tracy Chamber of Commerce office.
