Location: Tracy, Calif.
During the May 3, 2016 Tracy City Council meeting, the Council will consider an employment agreement with Bill Sartor, Assistant City Attorney, to serve as City Attorney. This comes after current City Attorney, Daniel Sodergren, announced his departure with the City of Tracy, effective May 15, 2016.
“I’m excited for the opportunity to serve the citizens of Tracy and to continue the tradition of fine in-house legal services started by Debra Corbett and continued by Dan Sodergren,” stated Mr. Sartor.
Mr. Sartor has worked for the City of Tracy since 2001. He previously worked for North American Title and its related companies and the City of San Ramon. He is well versed in all aspects of municipal law and the operations of the City Attorney’s Office.
Under the terms of the proposed employment agreement, Mr. Sartor will serve as City Attorney from May 16, 2016 to March 31, 2017.
