CITY OF TRACY – REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the CITY OF TRACY (hereinafter "CITY") requests proposals for Conducting Umpiring Services for the 2015 and 2016 Tracy Softball Programs project (hereinafter “Project”), and will receive proposals in the office of the City Manager, City of Tracy, 333 Civic Center Plaza, Tracy, CA, up to the hour of 5:00 p.m., on the 29th day of October 2014. If hand delivered, proposals should be submitted to the City Manager’s office on the second floor.

2. The services to be performed by the successful Proposer are described in the Request For Proposals. Copies of the Request for Proposals are available from (and any questions should be directed to) the CITY to At the City Manager’s Office, 333 Civic Center Plaza, Tracy, CA 95376, Attn: Laura Smith, Administrative Assistant II, (209) 831-6234, Fax: (209) 831-6120, Email laura.smith@ci.tracy.ca.us. The general scope of services includes the performing of Umpire Services for the Tracy Softball Leagues and Tournaments held at the Tracy Sports Complex from the middle of February 2015 to late November 2016.

3. Proposals shall be submitted and clearly marked on the outside of the envelope as follows: ““SEALED PROPOSAL FOR UMPIRING SERVICES FOR THE 2015 & 2016 TRACY SOFTBALL PROGRAM – DO NOT OPEN WITH REGULAR MAIL.”

4. All responsive proposals shall be reviewed and evaluated by the CITY in order to determine which Proposer best meets the CITY’s needs for this Project by demonstrating the competence and professional qualifications necessary for the satisfactory performance of the required services. The criteria by which the CITY shall evaluate proposals are set forth in the Request For Proposals.

5. The CITY reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or waive any irregularities in any proposal or the proposal process.
