'Hotel Transylvania' Kicks Off Movies on the Plaza SeriesPosted: Jun 19, 2013
Tracy, Calif. - Bring out your blankets and lawn chairs, for the 2013 Movies on the Plaza Kick-off movie starting with Hotel Transylvania (PG).
Movies on the Plaza are held in Tracy’s beautiful Civic Center Plaza, located at East & 10th Street. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and low lawn chairs. The movie begins at sunset and those attending are welcome to set-up their seating area at 6:30 p.m. Snacks and snow cones will be available for purchase and free popcorn will be given away during the event.
Tracy resident, Monique Sharp states, “My children love when we attend Movies on the Plaza. They enjoy the movie with their friends while eating popcorn and candy. The atmosphere is great and the people who attend are all so friendly.”
The kick-off movie, Hotel Transylvania is family friendly. Movie plot is as follows:
“Welcome to the Hotel Transylvania, Dracula's lavish five-stake resort, where monsters and their families are free to be the monsters they are without any humans around to bother them. Dracula has invited some of the world's most famous monsters like Frankenstein, the Mummy, and a family of werewolves to name a few to celebrate his daughter Mavis's 118th birthday. For Drac, catering to all of these legendary monsters is no problem, however this getaway for monster may come to an end when one ordinary guy stumbles on the hotel and takes interest in Mavis.”
The Movies on the Plaza Series continues throughout the summer, are family friendly, and free to the community. Upcoming movies are:
