HOMEGOODS AND ULTA BEAUTY OPENING IN TRACY
Tracy, CA (April 12, 2013) The City of Tracy welcomes the announcement of additional businesses to the I-205 retail area. HomeGoods, the home décor division of TJX Companies, Inc., signed a lease to occupy the former Staples location in the Tracy Marketplace Shopping Center on Grant Line Road. Additionally, ULTA Beauty recently announced plans to open adjacent to PetSmart located in the Tracy Pavilion Shopping Center.
HomeGoods, a popular high-quality home fashions discounter will occupy a 24,000 sf building left vacant when Staples relocated to the Tracy Pavilion Shopping Center last year. The retailer anticipates opening its Tracy location by October, 2013.
In addition, ULTA Beauty plans to open in a 10,000 sf space formerly occupied by Party City. ULTA specializes in haircare, cosmetics and fragrances in addition to offering a full service salon. ULTA is anticipated to open by the end of June.
Economic Development Analyst, Amie Mendes states, “We’ve seen a spike in retail activity in Tracy over the past year with the re-tenanting of several key locations. HomeGoods and ULTA are remarkable additions to the I-205 agglomeration. I’m confident that shoppers from Tracy and the surrounding region will be thrilled with both of these retailers.”
HomeGoods and ULTA are the latest in a string of new users in Tracy’s I-205 retail area. Buffalo Wild Wings, BevMo, Volkswagen and Bikram Yoga Tracy have all recently opened in the area. Currently, the closest HomeGoods and ULTA Beauty retail outlets are located in Stockton.
