Celebrate the New Tracer Routes by Riding for FREE!Posted: Jul 20, 2012
(TRACY, CA), Effective August 1, 2012, TRACER bus service will offer new routes on the fixed route system. Routes A and B will now have 30-minute service between 11am and 3pm. Route C will now extend to south Tracy servicing Hidden Lake, Raley’s, Walgreens, McDonalds, and Rite Aid areas.
Additionally, the city has improved the commuter routes. The route restructuring adds three new routes to provide limited service to various parts of the city including the ACE Station, Edgewood, Glenbriar, Hidden Lake, and West Lowell areas.
To celebrate the introduction of these new routes TRACER will be offering free rides for the month of August to all fixed route passengers.
With the launch of these new routes, TRACER begins a new phase in delivering transportation services to the Tracy community.
TRACER is also proud to introduce a new texting feature for riders. This feature immediately allows riders to find out wait times. Each fixed route stop will have a sign with a phone number to text.
The new routes and schedules provide residents greater destination options. These improvements and additions will provide better transfer connections, thus ensuring reliable and on-time transportation. TRACER bus service is available Monday through Friday from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. TRACER does not operate on Sundays.
