(Tracy, CA) – Movies on the Plaza, Tracy’s premiere outdoor cinema event is back for its 4th season. The season begins July 13, 2012 on the beautiful lawn of City Halls’ Civic Center Plaza.
The City encourages outdoor cinema patrons to bring blankets and low lawn chairs. The movie begins at sunset and patrons are welcome to come down to the plaza at 6:30 p.m. to grab the best seats on the lawn. A snack bar, free popcorn, and snow cones will be available during the event.
The first movie of the season is Hugo; rated PG. Hugo is an orphan boy who secretly lives in the walls of a busy train station in Paris during the 1930s. He looks after the clocks in the Train Station and fixes gadgets with the skills he learned from his father and uncle. He gets caught up in a mystery adventure when he attempts to repair an automaton which is the only thing he has left that connects him to his father.
All Movies on the Civic Center Plaza are free to the community and are appropriate for patrons of all ages. Upcoming movies are:
