Tracy, Calif. – The City of Tracy in partnership with the Tracy Chamber of Commerce proudly presented the Annual State of the City Address on Tuesday, March 27 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Grand Theatre Center for the Arts located at 715 Central Ave.
Mayor Brent Ives delivered a dynamic report to the citizenry of Tracy on the condition of the city from a financial, public safety and quality of life perspective. This year’s program was successful in highlighting the City and the Tracy Chamber‘s efforts to collectively create commerce.
Special guest speakers, Christine Calvin, Managing Editor of the Capital Region’s premier monthly business magazine, Comstock’s, and Hamid Moghadam Chairman and Co-CEO of Prologis, a leading global provider of industrial real estate, offered unique perspectives and insight into the progress and business opportunities in Tracy.

The State of the City kicks-off the Tracy Chamber Business Speakers Series of 2012. The next presentation in the series is a Business Forum with Economic Forecasts scheduled for April 4th at 9 a.m. in Tracy City Hall, Council Chambers. Guest Speakers include, Andrew Malik, Development Services Director and John W. Mitchell, PhD Economist.
