Mayor Robert Rickman
Robert Rickman was elected to the Tracy City Council in November 2010, and elected as Mayor in November 2016.
Robert is a third generation Tracyite, married with two young children. He attended school in Tracy and graduated from Tracy High School in 1991. He continued his education at San Joaquin Delta College and Sacramento State University where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice in 1995. Robert also holds a Juris Doctor degree from Humphrey's School of Law in Stockton.
Robert is currently employed as a peace officer for the State of California. Prior to being assigned to work in Tracy in 2002, Robert worked in San Francisco, Dublin, and Stockton. He gained a wealth of knowledge and experience from these assignments which included member of the San Mateo Gang Task Force, Patrol, Drug Recognition Evaluator, Training Officer, Evidence Officer, Firearms, and Public Affairs Officer.
Robert is also a part-time college Criminal Justice Instructor and serves on the Criminal Justice Advisory Board at Humphreys College. During his time in Tracy, Robert has kept citizens safe by removing impaired drivers, drugs, and guns off the streets and out of the community. He has enforced traffic laws to make sure that when you leave home you return safely, and has conducted several hundred presentations at local schools and businesses concerning alcohol, drugs, gangs, and traffic safety.

Robert is a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church, the ELKS Lodge, Mount Oso Lodge #460, and the Kiwanis Club.
